A Florida bike shop has put 10 custom-built Tron Light Cycles on sale that featuring a steel frame and fiberglass bodywork look almost identical to each other. Powered by a V-twin engine from the Suzuki TLR1000, the bikes are about 100 inches long and 23 inches wide and weigh 474 pounds. Placing the rider 28.5 inches off the ground, the Tron Light Cycle comes with either actual gauges or an iPad dock that displays vital statistics on the iPad’s touchscreen to enhance your riding experience. Priced at $55,000, the Light Cycles employ a custom-made friction drum capable of producing influential stopping power at high speeds. Though the bike appears highly influenced by the big screen, Jeff Halverson of Parker Brothers Choppers has completely different opinion about it.
We basically used the images we could get off the web in order to make the bike. Keep in mind, no one ever made this bike before. It rides like any sportbike, though we’ve gotta wonder with that huge front tire. Still, we’d welcome the chance to ride one to find out.
