Of all the concept vehicles we have been bombarded with in the new millennium, this Caedius All Terrain Relief Vehicle has got to be the one design we absolutely cannot wait to see crawling off of the pages and onto the assembly lines. By the sheer force of its usefulness, the Experimental Transportation Design created by Pratt Institute prodigy Josh Eyre stands out from the rest of the futuristic concept vehicles that have nothing more to offer but empty airs of vainglory! Modeled entirely in Solidworks, the Caedius uses Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) along with a 3 axis router for a bulk of the body construction.
Though the design exists mostly on paper at the moment, it might be rather interesting to see this curious thing carrying out search and rescue in the near future.
