Whatever motivates you to donate blood, the fact remains that a bit of comfort during the procedure won’t hurt. This is exactly the viewpoint of one Mr. Cpilonieta (Not a real name I suppose!) from Alexandria, Virginia, United States. He has designed a neat little assortment that’s supposed to “simplify and improve procedures in the blood donation sequence.” The concept tagged simply as ‘Blood Donor System,’ envisages a system wherein every object required in the act is arranged in a holistic manner and ergonomically too. The donor chair tilts forward (instead of the usual lying down) and keeps the donor comfortable. To ease in transportation of such systems to say a camp etc. the Blood Donor System comes with pivot points that make it foldable. The entire unit is designed beautifully and no doubt will help both the donor and the nurse.
