Entering the gadget accessory market, Bang & Olufsen has come up with an iPod dock that apart from producing great sound also looks cool on your table. Hailed as “BeoSound 8,” the docking station features two 70w active speakers, each including two amps within, which gives it a barbell-like design. Presenting an aluminum centerpiece with touch controls, the dock can be modified with a number of colored speaker fascias according to the taste of the user. Developed essentially for the Apple products, including iPods and iPhones and even an iPad, the BeoSound 8 also includes a USB slot and aux-in to play your portable music and power your PC. Compatible with Apple Airport Express, the BeoSound 8 can be controlled with a round remote and any other Bang & Olufsen kit. Priced at £895, the BeoSound 8 will be available in the UK by the end of November.
