Renowned Argentinian designer Alexander Lotersztain’s latest project was designing the ‘Limes Hotel’ and is the first Australian hotel to join the Design Hotels organization. The tastefully designed hotel has a rooftop bar and is located in an upmarket area of Brisbane. The designer rejected conventional 5 star norms and has considered the weary traveler’s primary requirements after spending hours in international flights. The attention to detail is exquisite and the rooms feature elegant and expensive interior decor, and aims to provide the guest a unique experience be it a drink, a night’s stay or just a movie on the rooftop. Efforts have been made to hide unsightly things such as cables and dustbins wherever possible. Stunning as it is, The Limes is also one of the most elegant and simple hotel designs ever. What can be termed as material sensuality, the facade feels extremely chic and yet offers a lot of privacy. This is a hotel, which might soon become a landmark in Brisbane, thanks to its exquisite design.
