Anthropomorphic Seat by Sergio Gill: Tone your body with womenish recliners

I really don’t like the idea of grown-up people, men or women, sitting in the lap of a woman, but I guess there’s a new revolution pertaining to gender role issues that a completely missed out on. At least this new chair designed by Sergio Gill certainly seems to indicate that. I mean why exactly would you wanna have a chair in your living room that resembles a reclining woman? And more disturbingly, why would anyone want to scan a real live female model, stylize her form via another software program, make machinable parts of it using AlphaCAM software and make a birch plywood model of the same with a tung oil finish? Just too many unanswered questions you see. What’s even worse is that the seat even made it to the finals of the IWF Design Emphasis Competition which apparently means that there are a lot of people who love to sit on something like this! I think I need to go talk to my therapist like right now!
