Voices play the least role in the world of deaf people. Sounds are not only meant for communicating or listening to music but have more vital roles to play. One of the most evil aspects of being hearing-impaired is the powerlessness to hear warning signals. To avoid any disaster, an alarm named “Deaf alarm Table” has been designed by Chinese designer Jianjian Gao. Making use of vibrating mechanism this alarm will keep people who are hard of hearing safe. The device has been tested on subjects that were completely deaf. Designed keeping in mind the needs of deaf, it vibrates and gives a signal in case of impending danger. This alarm is surely going to give some back-up protection.
