Normally, bathtubs lie flat on the floor to help us relax and unfurl a cozy bathroom environment with additional yet modern features. But the 90 Degree, as its name suggests, stands in an upright position to give a whole new dimension to modern bathtubs. The multifunctional bathtub has been crafted for the Roca Competition by designer Ethan Lai. 90 Degree is a vertical type of bathtub that has been created keeping shrinking household spaces in mind.

It will allow users to both stand and float once they are inside the tub. The multifunctional bathtub will provide utmost comfort when bathing in it. 90 Degree features bath, shower and vapor bath, which can be used flexibly without much complications.
The design comprises of a transparent glass that needs to be lifted before entering the bathtub. The side of the design has waterproof buttons that are touch-sensitive. These buttons can be used to choose various modes of bathing when inside. The top of this awesome concept has a provision that will make water fall down and also release stem, if one wants to take a steam bath.
The bottom has a drainage hole that will make sure that no water blockage occurs. Vent holes are present on the top of the transparent glass that will let a person breath fresh air even when showering inside the cocoon like environment. 90 Degree is a thoughtful concept that will change the way bathtubs are placed.
