Well, Swiss designer Martin Meier also known as MacMeier basically takes the concept of the torch and reinterprets it to fit modern décor. Called 3poäng (which is Swedish for 3 points), the lamp can be placed along any wall to provide instant and dramatic light. Available in several exciting colors, the pole lamp serves as a modern reminder of where we came from the struggle humanity has had to endure to get to the comforts of the modern, industrialized lighting.
